Smart Choice of Kentucky Holds Agent Conference |
Smart Choice® of Kentucky had their 2010 agents’ conference April 29 at the Belterra Casino Resort & Spa. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to meet with company representatives during a morning trade show, received door prizes and giveaways and attended breakout sessions in the afternoon hosted by Smart Choice® carrier partners. We were fortunate to have a special guest speaker Dan King from Travelers Insurance. As a marketing and training consultant, Dan has assisted countless independent agents by providing training in the areas of business planning, job design, mergers and acquisitions and staff compensation plans. During his presentation he shared how advancements in communication technology through social media and computers has changed the business world, and the importance of having a business plan for marketing and growing your agency. Paul Taylor, Executive Vice President and Director of the Smart Choice® Agents Program, also relayed the accomplishments of the Kentucky program and highlighted the company partners that are available to agents through Smart Choice.® Another highlight of the meeting was the Awards and Recognition session. Smart Choice® of Kentucky State Director Sheilia Royal presented a number of awards in recognition of sales excellence and support.
Many thanks go to our great sponsors for helping make this conference possible!
