Worldwide Insurance Network, Inc. Ranked In 100 Top Property/Casualty U.S. Agencies

Top 100Worldwide Insurance Network, Inc.(WIN), the provider of the Smart Choice® Agents Program, was recently named the 27th largest property and casualty independent insurance agency in the United States. The ranking was announced in the Insurance Journal’s “Top 100 Property Casualty Independent Agencies.”

This is the first year the High Point-based independent agency submitted information for consideration to the Insurance Journal, one of the insurance industry’s most respected publications. WIN’s premier program is the Smart Choice® Agents Program, a network of almost 3,000 independent agencies in 29 states. With its rank of 27, WIN debuted as the largest agency in North Carolina, based on information provided by the agencies that participated in the rankings.

“We are honored to be included in the Insurance Journal’s annual listing of the country’s largest independent insurance agencies,” said WIN Chief Executive Officer Douglas S. Witcher. “Our success is possible because of the commitment and dedication of the almost 3,000 independent agents in our program and the 60-plus insurance companies who partner with us.”

Witcher founded Smart Choice in 1994 with 13 North Carolina agencies, and the program has continued to grow. Smart Choice® provides independent agencies with access to top-rated insurance products that they could not obtain on their own.

The Smart Choice® Agents Program is a wholly-owned program of Worldwide Insurance Network, Inc. (WIN), headquartered in High Point, North Carolina. There are over 3,000 agents in 33 states in the program. Another division of WIN is the Smart Choice® Franchise Corporation, parent of Smart Choice® Insurance Centers.
