State Director

Alex Cobb is the State Director for Smart Choice® in Alabama, bringing more than two decades of insurance industry experience to his role. A second-generation insurance professional, Alex began his career with Smart Choice in 2001 and spent 15 years managing a retail insurance agency before moving into territory leadership.

Since transitioning into field leadership, Alex has focused on helping both start-up and established independent agencies throughout Alabama identify new opportunities for growth. His experience in agency operations, sales, territory management, and relationship building gives him a strong foundation for supporting Smart Choice agency partners and their long-term success.
