John Petrolias has been a Smart Choice Pennsylvania Territory Manager since 2022. John takes pride in helping independent insurance agents grow their businesses by expanding their market access and building strong relationships with carriers. Before joining Smart Choice, John built a successful career in broadcast journalism, earning multiple industry award nominations as a local TV news producer. John was born & raised in Pittsburgh and graduated from Penn State University in 2017 and also holds an MBA from Liberty University. John is proud of his Greek American heritage and comes from a long line of restaurant owners and insurance agents. John has seen first-hand what it takes to run a successful business, and loves working with insurance agents to help them achieve their goals. John has been licensed in property & casualty insurance in Pennsylvania since 2015.
