Mike Strakhov

President, Smart Choice Retail Division

Mike joined Smart Choice in November 2025 as President of the Retail Division. Prior to joining the company, he spent his career in insurance and banking, working with business owners and leadership teams on growth, financing, profitability and long-term planning. His experience includes building an insurance lending division from the ground up, developing its strategy, team and underwriting standards. He works closely with independent insurance agency owners on acquisitions, perpetuation and succession planning, agency valuation and financing solutions designed to support their long-term goals.
