C. Luke Royal is the Midwest Regional Director at Smart Choice®, leading a network of more than 800 independent insurance agents across the region. During more than a decade with Smart Choice, Luke has advanced from Kentucky Territory Manager to Indiana State Director and now Regional Director, building extensive experience in agency development, market access, and relationship management.

Luke is passionate about helping independent agencies grow, diversify, and strengthen their businesses through carrier partnerships, training, and strategic support. He also has a strong interest in emerging technology and AI, particularly how these tools can improve access to information and create more efficient resources for insurance professionals. He has been recognized as Rookie Director of the Year and as a member of the Smart Choice Leadership Club.
