Richard E. Meyers Jr. is the New Jersey State Director and Delaware Territory Manager for Smart Choice®. He has supported independent insurance agencies since 2012. With more than four decades of insurance industry experience, Richard brings a deep background in agency ownership, personal lines underwriting, and independent agency development.

Before joining Smart Choice, Richard owned and operated an Allstate agency for more than 20 years and previously worked as a personal lines underwriter managing agency relationships across New York and New Jersey. His extensive experience allows him to provide practical guidance, market insight, and strategic support to help independent agents grow successful, sustainable businesses.
